Initial Sketches

Combining and contextualizing visual references to create a collection of pieces that feels both familiar and surreal.

My goal was to use color, line, and volume to create a world that captures the collective unconscious.

I drew inspiration from the philosophy of Jungian archetypes, as well as depictions of the metaphysical world in the works of Giorgio Di Chirico, Hieronymus Bosch, and other visionary painters.
